WEST VIRGINIA (SWVO) – Multiple schools in West Virginia are closed or classes are delayed due to ongoing flooding in different parts of the state.
The closures could possibly linger into Friday depending on damage caused by the flooding.
Braxton, Calhoun, and Gilmer counties all canceled classes Thursday.
Lewis and Lincoln counties were on a 2-hour delay for Thursday while Roane County was on a 3-hour delay.
A Flood Warning remains in effect for Braxton, Calhoun, Gilmer, Ritchie, and Roane counties until 1:15 PM Thursday.
