The Burrito Bar at Breeze Hill announces permanent closure

(TripAdvisor)

LANSING, WV (SWVO) – UPDATED STORY 5/4/25 7:16 PM: Following the original publication of the article, the landlord of the property, Skip Heater, reached out to SWVO.

Heater alleges that the business caused significant property damage, failed to pay rent on time, and misused the premises.

Owner Ryan Walters denied these claims, attributing issues to long-standing maintenance problems by the landlord.

As it stands, the restaurant is set to close by the end of May as no lease has been signed beyond this month.

The Burrito Bar at Breeze Hill, a popular New River Gorge eatery, will be closing permanently in the coming weeks.

The restaurant will be closing due to disagreements between the landlord and owner of the restaurant as a lease has not been signed beyond May.

Walters stated in a Facebook post that the restaurant would be open for a couple more weeks.

Walters thanked everyone for the support of the Burrito Bar.

For those looking to try out the establishment before its closure, it is located at 179 Oscar White Road in Lansing.
