OAK HILL, WV (SWVO) – A Fayette County drive-in theatre has announced that it will host its first-ever “Starlite Fall Festival,” which will feature a carnival, music, and a host of other activities.

The festival will take place at the Starlite Drive-In located on Lochgelly Road in Oak Hill.

Owner Chuck Miller says this is something he and the team have been working on for a good while.

“We’ve worked on this for almost a year,” Miller said in a video posted to Facebook. “We’ll have the carnival there, there will be rides, we’ll have a bunch of other stuff going on.”

The festival will run from Tuesday, September 2, to Saturday, September 6.

Miller says he is working on getting bands to perform on the newly constructed stage on the property and that they may even show a movie on the big screen during the festival.

“We don’t have a lot going on around here, but we’re workin’ to bring it,” Miller explained.

Miller encourages everyone in Fayette County and the surrounding area to attend.
