LANSING, W.Va. (SWVO) – Adventures on the Gorge has officially introduced its new culinary leadership team just in time for the start of the spring season.

Returning as Head Chef is John Davidson, a longtime team member known for his dedication to excellence and his welcoming presence. 

Davidson continues to bring stability and experience to the kitchen as the resort gears up for another busy year.

Joining the team is Banquet Chef Rosa Rodriquez, who brings with her a strong culinary reputation from Summersville. Rodriquez previously led the kitchen at The Vault and ran her own restaurant, The Original Bistro.

Rounding out the trio is Executive Chef Eric Brownlee, who relocated from Charlottesville, Virginia, to take on the new role. 

With over 25 years of experience in the culinary world, Brownlee’s background spans hotels, golf courses, and notable establishments throughout the Carolinas.

The resort expressed excitement over the combined talents of its newly formed kitchen crew, which aims to blend classic flavors with fresh energy and modern techniques.

Smokey’s, the resort’s signature restaurant, will reopen to the public on Friday. Operating seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the restaurant invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy a new season of dining at Adventures on the Gorge.
