OAK HILL, WV (SWVO) – Travelers looking to relive the charm of the 1980s and early 1990s now have a unique new option just minutes from New River Gorge National Park and Preserve.

Nate and Rachel Adams, owners of Appalachian Escapes, have unveiled their sixth vacation rental in Fayette County — a property entirely themed around the nostalgia of the ‘80s and ‘90s.

From a recreated family living room reminiscent of Grandma’s house to a classic video rental setup and even a personal pan pizza–inspired dining nook, the ‘80s Nostalgia House is designed to transport guests back in time.

The home features thoughtful period details, including a salad bar, working arcade machines, a console television with VCR, vintage toys, and authentic décor from the era.

Every corner celebrates the details of the time — from the Tupperware and candies to the magazines that defined a generation.

Located just outside the New River Gorge National Park, the property offers a chance for families or groups of friends to share memories while creating new ones.

You must check out this place for yourself as our photos and words just do not do it justice…

For visitors needing additional space, the Adams’ nearby Game House and Wizard House rentals provide equally imaginative accommodations within the same neighborhood.
